Our mission is dedicated in helping today's youth from falling into gangs and drugs because Today's Youth Are Our Country's Future! Our services include:

Youth Center - Ran with kids in mind and is set up as a club for kids. The Center was established in order to give our community's youth a safe alternative to the streets. The youth are encouraged to stay in school and stay drug and gang free in order to receive the privilege of utilizing this facility, which include basketball, indoor and outdoor skateboard park, and internet cafe.

Aftercare Counseling - For youth who have been released from camp or juvenile hall and are ordered to attend a follow up program. Just as the Probation Program, the youth are required to attend one evaluation and twelve group sessions.

After School Program - Provides a safe environment for ages 13 to 18 years, where they may have a quiet area for studies, computer training, recreational facilities, counseling and mentors for behavior modification. This program is offered every school day for youth of working parents. Call the office for hours and more information.

Community and School Outreach Programs - UCAN has many programs where we would go to local schools and have plays and other similar forums in order to reach out to all the youth. To educate and to let them know that we are here and that we care.

Community Service - UCAN is an official location where people who are sentenced to perform community service may do so.

Drug and Alcohol Diversion Classes - We provide classes with state certified counselors to keep our youth as well as their familys' drug and alcohol free.

ADADC Counselor Certification Program - We provide a State of California Drug and Alcohol Counselor certification program.

First Time Offender Juvenile Diversion Program - This program works directly with the Sheriff's Department and the court system. The purpose of this program is to prevent juveniles from engaging in further delinquent behavior by giving them a second chance to keep their records clean. Parents are also required to attend counseling sessions.

Youth Mentoring Program - This program exposes youth to photography, videography, graphics design, and music.

Parent and Youth Support Groups - The purpose of both the parent and youth support groups is to help rebuild relationships within the family and provide parents and their children with problem solving techniques while stressing communication.

Probation Program - For youth who have been ordered to attend by Probation or the Court. The youth are required to attend one evaluation and twelve group sessions.

Project Rebound - Youth who have been expelled from school must attend a 4 week program, including anger management sessions. Completion of this course is required to be considered for reinstatement.
